Select a picture, load it into Super Snap, and let the application process the image. In little time you will have a cool new image that has a retro feel. Switch between the different styles Super Snap puts at your disposal to pick the retro look that best suits your expectations. When you’re done, save the cool new image you created.

The system requirements for running Super Snap are as follows: at least 512MB of RAM memory (1GB recommended), 6.9MB of free disk space, 800x600 screen resolution, Adobe Reader for accessing the application’s documentations, Windows operating system (anything from XP onward). Modern and even older PCs will have no problems meeting these system requirements.

Super Snap features a good looking, black themed interface. The image you loaded takes up the main part of said interface. At the top there’s a toolbar for starting the conversion process, saving the processed image, zooming in and out, and more. It is, in all fairness, a simple layout that you will very quickly get accustomed to.

Using Super Snap is a very simple 3-step process:
Step 1 – select the image you want to process.
Step 2 – click the Start Conversion button located in the upper right hand corner and let Super Snap process the image you loaded.
Step 3 – from the dropdown menu located in the upper left hand corner, pick the style you want.

You can then save or print out the processed image – but only if you have a registered Super Snap edition. The trial version does not allow you to do this. Furthermore, the trial puts a watermark on the processed image.

This is a user friendly tool that serves a precise purpose: give your images a retro feel.

Pros

The system requirements for running Super Snap are quite low. The Super Snap interface is very easy to figure out. The application will quickly process whatever image you select. There are several retro styles to choose from. Save or print out the retro image.

Cons

Watermark on output; the Save function is disabled in the trial.
